Last night, at the last moment, I had to make this card. A couple weeks ago, I wrapped a birthday gift for our sons girlfriend in a beautiful paper. I put a purple ribbon around it and then promptly forgot that I had not yet made a card. I realized it shortly before they were expected for dinner. I looked at her gift, saw the shiny gold in the wrapping paper and thought of this challenge. Gold foil would make a lovely border. I decided to die-cut out two of the same butterfly from the rest of the wrapping paper. I glued one down to the white cardstock and glued the second one on top only on the body and let the wings free. Stamped a birthday sentiment and added a little bling. Took a quick picture. Laid the card on the package without an envelope to look pretty. Grateful for the inspiration for a fast card just on the edge of time. TFL
