I finally got to paint late yesterday afternoon. (Way too much time at the doctor because my BP was whack-a-doodle) This week's video artist gave us a super "recipe" for drawing pumpkin shapes and I found sketching them really easy. I laboured over the actual painting and when I was done the brush strokes looked shaky and weird to me . . .possibly because I was still shaky, so I decided to let it sit overnight and judge this morning. Yes - much better so I stamped the sentiment in Peeled Paint and embossed with clear powder then added a simple gold edge with a paint pen.

Smiling here looking at your fantastic pumpkins. Really like the view you sketched of them....I had a problem with mine looking like they were going to roll off the paper. You painting looks amazing with the shading, tendrils and the stems. Love the signature since it is an original by you. Way to go!!!! Enjoyed your creation, and thanks for joining us this week.

Linda, your pumpkins are marvelous. I don't see a stroke of "shakiness".....not that I would mind it at all, anyway.(My own style is rather "slap dash") I like how you grounded them with a shadow and your gradient sentiment is lovely too.
