We were out for the day on Friday, Saturday is now my housework day because Mondays are so busy in work, and I also had to deal with all the blackberries we picked on Friday .
I wanted to try the Sizzix texture roll, so that's my pocket. I diecut the pocket, sponged it with oxides and embossed with a medallion or doily ef, and highlighted the embossing with Craft-T rubons. Looking for a suitable background, I found this not very successful first attempt at Dina's faded water stencilling tutorial from a while back, and the colours were good. I added a little tab under the pocket before sticking it onto the background. The flowers were cut from white card. I use Rose Red Brushos for the flowers, and sponged the leaves and centres with DOX. The leaves were embossed with the same ef and had a different colour of rub-on used to define the embossing. I like this.
