For this card I stamped and embossed the two little girls and then fussy cut them out. The background of autumn leaves was stamped and coloured as well and is my first patterned paper. The little girls were mounted up onto a water colour background I made previously. I also stamped the sentiment on that card as well. Framed the background and images with dark brown and then finally on a ochre coloured background.
I found this card hard to put together mainly because we are now into Spring here - and you automatically reach for soft spring colours. That said I do love all the autumn colours in this card even if it is out of season here.
Hope you enjoy.

Those little girls are adorable....so carefree! I love the Fall bg but I can imagine it would be tough as you are heading into Spring. Such a pretty card!
The colors you used here are simply delish - so much eye-candy! Love the beautifully colored girls and leaves, and the sentiment is on point! Like Polly, I can also imagine how tough it is to put your mindset on one season, when all around you is on another - but, you executed this flawlessly!

That is such a great sentiment, Helen, very upbeat and positive. I like it, don't think I've ever seen it before. Autumn is arriving here with a vengeance, I envy you your Spring. Time to put away my cycling shorts and take out the leggings, I think.
