Good Fortune
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: jkanack

Koi, besides symbolizing courage and strength of character, also symbolize good fortune, which means I'm submitting this for a DTGD21 challenge. Check it out!!

This is also for Anita's nifty TLC today: stencil with diecuts, which uses both the positive and negative. I had this cardstock with the printed spray of pink flowers, maybe cherry blossoms so I decided to use some of that. Picked out the chocolate brown of the stems for the layering paper and stamped some lovely florals. Some sponging for the technique and it's done. I'll probably use these for birthday cards, sentiment inside. I'm very happy with how these turned out, simple, rather CAS. Thanks, Anita and Linda! I doubt I will get DTGD21 done before Falliday but one never knows!

Very cool! I especially like how well you used your elements to create two different perspectives. The rounded corners are pleasing…such small things that really catch the eye.

Oh, I love your koi die! This challenge is bad that way, LOL, I've seen so many great dies. Way to go on using the printed paper to add to the Asian vibe.
