This card, by FS Debbie, really caught my eye: DDD April Card Challenge by littledeb at Splitcoaststampers
It made me think of a book I am reading called Braiding Sweetgrass, by Robin Wall Kimmerer. In one chapter, she writes about how Asters and Goldenrod often grow together and how their colors reflect the brilliance of the other. (I highly recommend this book!) These stamps were the closest I had to those flowers.

Truly lovely, Faith - a wonderful watercolor and I have always loved these colors together because my Mom grew purple and yellow Iris mixed closely together in a large flower bed. A good memory for which I thank you.

That is a gorgeous card! I love this time of year when the old fields are full of goldenrod and the purple of the asters. A striking colour combination beautifully reflected in your card.
This is a beautiful case of Debby's card, Faith. I love the soft colors used on your flower and background stripes. The bright yellow on the background layer and flower foliage really makes the card pop.

Beautiful case. Love seeing these older stamps get some attention (mine need it, too). The colors are lovely and work together nicely. Wonderful papers for the layout. Into my favs. Great card! TFS

Well, your "asters and goldenrod" certainly reflect the brilliance of the other. These images and colors look fabulous together. I love that you used a white card base as the accent papers really pop and make your main image panel shine. Great CASE and a beautiful card. Fav'd.
