Two week's ago we had a Tea Party for Ethan, a 17 year old boy who is fighting cancer. Jacqueline had found him on Instagram. The son a cardmaker that she followed on IG. I also started following Ethan's mom and have been reading up on her Ethan updates. I learned this week that Ethan and I have the same favorite TV show - Psych. So I need to mail him another card. Sabrina's outer space challenge was perfect for it. This is the third Psych themed card that I've made and the second one like this. It's Gus, my favorite character on the show, dropping his best pick-up line--"You heard about Pluto? That's messed up, right?" I also love an excuse to use my favorite stamp set ever. For a little extra inspiration, I checked the MFT Sketch Challenge and found out that it was perfect for this card. I found my Copic airbrush tool after some digging. This was only my second time ever using it. It made my husband really nervous. He also thought I ruined it by adding green. I think it could have used some pink too. I splattered it with alcohol and then added some stars with Enamel Accents. The planets are cut out of a piece of paper that I used to clean off my brayer after some project. The whole thing is splattered with acrylic paint. I hope Ethan loves it!

Jennifer, this is just the cutest card and I love your story; how cool that you are continuing to connect with Ethan with your shared love of that TV show!

Oh no, you did NOT ruin it by adding green, and I think pink would have been good too. Love the visual texture in the planets, and from the Enamel Accents stars. Lovely card, Jen.
