Teapot Challenge: Sunshine and summer theme for Brenda
I had found this paper a couple weeks ago while making another card and I had set it aside to make a sunshine card when the need would arise. Little did I know it would be so soon. First, I had to find it where I stashed it! No small task. Then I cut the paper to shine, layered on black and onto Cameo Coral card base. I added some brads & a butterfly for a summery look.
I opened a new Wink of Stella pen since my current one was running out and brushed on the glitter to each sun ray. It is so sparkly when the light catches it. I smudged the paper so the heat embossed sentiment punched into a circle saved the day. I used the same DSP to line the inside of the envelope to hopefully be a burst of sunshine when opened.
Fun card to make. Hope Brenda likes it. Thanks for looking!

LOL, I know exactly what you mean about trying to find paper. Sometimes it seems like the more recently I used something, the harder it is to find. I can see some of the shimmer on the sun rays, it must be fab. And what sweet little brads!

What great paper for this Tea Party. I love the rays and flowers but especially the flamingo. So fun. And the extra "shine" from the Wink of Stella is icing on this cake. Yep, I love when I put something where I am sure to "find" it but then I can't...the life of a crafter, LOL. Super card for Brenda.
Diane, I'm wondering if we should all form a club - the "I know I kept it but I just don't remember where" club, LOL! Glad you found this beauty though, and the shimmer in the sun's rays are simply delightful!

Gorgeous! Love the sun rays with the beautiful shimmer. The wee brads are so cute. The design with the matching headline is perfect. I put things down and lose them as soon as I set them aside to stamp!

This says summer all over it, Diane. Love your sparkly rays and good save with the sentiment. Yes, lol, setting things aside can be mind boggling. Ask me how I know, lol. I like all the little summery images you added. This will cheer her up immensely!
