I thought about calling this card 'choke a horse' in honor of Stacy; I decided that the word that describes today's site is 'luscious!' I worked at a fairly upscale women's clothing store in the 90's so I'm not that affected by high prices, although I couldn't afford much of anything anymore.
I wasn't really influenced by anything specific. The patterns, the colors, the richness is what called to me. If I had to pick something, this would be close and maybe I could afford this: https://www.peruvianconnection.com/p...fType=&from=fn
I thought of all the beautiful paper I've accumulated over the years, much of it with embossing, flocking, difficult to use because it's hard to stamp on it. I cut strips and laid them on a double sided sticky sheet. I have several containers with bits and pieces of things that were never used and the dark brown tree image has been staring at me for a long time. I did this with alcohol ink and then the lift ink, back when that ink was new. I think it looks like those old engraved photos or maybe a copper engraving plate. Another new to me Autumn sentiment and some sequins finish this off.
