I went with two friends fishing for today's Free for All Challenge and tore a snow bank behind them for the MIX challenge. I decided this morning that I should use my brayer more. So I squeezed out some DOX reinkers onto my craft mat and brayered it onto my background. I like the coverage and the streakiness that I got from doing that. Then I splattered with white paint. I stamped my cute critters and tore the paper for the snow behind them. Then I colored them with Copics and popped them up against the background with some Nuvo Mousse spread through a tree-line stencil.
Ink: DOX Spun Sugar, Stormy Sky, Dusty Concord, SN and Copic Markers, Memento Tuxedo Black, Versafine Clair
Accessories: MFT Stitched die, foam squares, Nuvo Expanding mousse, Kindred stencil, white Enamel Accents and acrylic paint, black gel pen and glaze pen
I think I should really brayer more. I rarely use mine. This is gorgeous! I love your two friends and the sweet winter scene! The torn paper snowbank is perfect!
