My good friend Pam challenged me to make a crimped envelope card. It had been years since either one of us had made one. I struggled with the colors but got as close as I could. I was going to break the color challenge rules and go with a different shade of blue all together but Pam pushed me to find the right shade of blue in my scraps. I used a palette knife, the leaf stencil and Aleene's tacky glue to make the leaf shapes and then put gilding flakes on the leaves. The little cascading journling bookmark fits inside the crimped envelope.

How fun to make such an awesome card for an SCS challenge as well as one from a friend. She spurred you to make a great envelope card and bookmark. Love the foliage on all the panels that I can see peeking out as well as the various BGs you used. That butterfly is one of my favorites -- although mine is a digi and not a stamp. I am in awe of those antennae. Wow, I don't know if you used something for that or fussycut them but they look awesome. Great job.
