I think my dragonfly is boring. I'm not sure what I could have done to jazz it up. But on the bright side it was quick and easy. I'm starting to feel confident enough in my watercolor abilities that I just watched the video and did it, without have to pause and rewind and make sure I didn't miss a thing.

I'm with Shelly. I was just thinking the same thing before I saw Shelly's post. It is quite amazing actually, that you created it with the watercolors. Your card looks great!

isn't that fun? I love the color choice for the wings here Jen, I am thinking I may pick up some iridescent shades of paints ( tubes) but, now that I have written that I know I have some pans in other brands I will have to look. I think on my own I wanted a little sparkle when it was done.
I don't think it's boring at all! I love your light sketchy wings! It definitely feels like he is in flight! I am so thrilled to hear that you are gaining confidence in watercolor! I have loved all of your projects!

I think the way you did it is the trick - I kept rewinding and second guessing and was not happy with the results. I may try again tomorrow. Yours is light and airy - as a dragonfly should look!
