 | | I bought the Brusho powders when SU offered them. I finally pulled them out and had a lot of fun! I even ended up buying more online! Cannot believe I missed this.
I always try to make an anniversary card that represents something we've done. Since I'm not traveling right now, I chose the last snorkeling adventure. Funny story...I always do these in secret to surprise my hubby. I made the sea turtles a year ago. I hid them so well, I never found them. Made another set and promptly misplaced them also. This is the third set. I made them only a day before adhering to the card base. This time I only misplaced them for 5 scary minutes!! 🤣
I actually used a non SU turtle, but you could use the one from Whale Done. I colored with granny apple green and pineapple punch. I think the darker was old olive. Then emboss with clear EP.
Apply the Brusho powder on the watercolor paper and spritz with water. Do one color at a time. I put lighter yellow in one corner to represent the sunlit water. Darker towards the bottom. Make sure this fully dries overnight. I even put it under a heavy book to flatten.
Then just have fun. Add some stamped images in different colors. Add some die cut images to make it more 3D.
Add turtles with dimensionals.
