This week's Tea Party Guest is 17 year old Ethan who loves piano, X-Box, Super Heroes, Comedians and the color Red. So, I thought I would attempt a graphic design with what I hope are gamey -- er. gamerly -- er, gamelike -- symbols.
I laid out a pattern then cut the three pieces of colored card stock into the various shapes. Stenciled each piece with various symbols and inks and glued to a black card base. The black die cut letters got lost on the page so I cut the letters again in red and white and then slightly offset each letter to help it stand out no matter which panel it landed on.
Cancer is such a crap disease and it always tears my heart when I read it has attacked someone so young. But there have been so many advances and cures in recent years that it also leaves me hopeful that these youngsters, like Ethan, will beat back the disease and live long and happy lives. I hope your day is filled with hope and love too. TFL.

Fantastic geometric design and your stenciling is wonderful! Outstanding dimension on your letters .... so clever to cut out the 3 colors so they show up so perfectly on each panel! Perfect card for Ethan!

Wow, Debbie, this is a fabulous card! Love all the elements you put together, specially the offset letters! I am hoping the same for Ethan... he is just a year older than my son, and it's heartbreaking for someone so young to be so sick!
