I used two similar colors and a vine like leaf stamp/die, but otherwise, pretty different. I meant to dry emboss the striped part, totally forgot. I made my own cardstock, using the three colors on white. I put Wink of Stella on the green stripes, need to put on another coat. I cut random strips of the cardstock and layed them on double sided sticky paper. Partially die cut the the striped part, then fit the stamp into the diecut part and stamped with old olive and mossy meadow. Did a little brayering on the top and bottom of the white base with the olive. I did use the open leaf stamp to put some Versamark and ep around the solid stamp but you can hardly see it. This probably will be a birthday card for a friend, she loves green and purple together.

Jean, I am swooning over the colors too. Love green in all forms and with the purple, well it is such a great combo. The stripes are excellent and I had to laugh at what you forgot to do. Love reading your write ups, you know. The leaf/vine is super cool looking. Wonderful birthday card for your friend, classy and elegant with the liquid pearls! Thank you for honoring me. It is so fun to see what inspired you to make this lovely card!

Fab colors for sure! Love what you did with the stripes and the image is beautiful. Some great techniques and a super lovely case of Shirl's card. I am glad you picked it to case, because both your cards are inspiring me! I read where Shirl loves your write ups and just wanted to say that I do too. Hugz

Love how Shirl's card inspired you to create this beauty -- and fabulous use of this week's colors. Using the Olive Green for the bg and main image is so effective. The purples make just the perfect accent in the perfect amounts. Loving the cut out for the leaves and the extra bit of ef with the open pattern leaves. As Shirl said, a classy and elegant card for your friend. And, I third that I enjoy reading your write-ups.

Love the shading on your leaves and your striped paper. Your beautiful liquid pearls add additional glamour!
