A big congrats to Shirl, the newest Featured Stamper! She has a lovely gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the layout & wreath, but used different images & dies & changed the colors up a bit.
For my Thanksgiving card, I die cut the layered pumpkins out of a few colors of rusty orange & the pumpkin vines & leaves out of a couple of shades of green. A needle piercing tool was used on the leaves to give them veins & I popped up a couple of the layers on the pumpkins to give them depth. I arranged them all on a die cut white ring then attached it to a square & layered it onto a rust square. The greeting was made out of two clear sets & stamped below.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ more pics & links: The Write Stuff

Julie I just love your wonderful pumpkins with all that dimension and the two toned vines. So fun to see your beautiful creation and I am so thankful to see your card! I love it!
Julie, his is a wonderful case of Shirl's card. I love your wreath made with the ivy vines and pumpkins. The dimension of the layered pumpkins looks so real like they could be plucked off the card. I love that you used multi colored oranges and greens for the die cuts.

Fabulous. Love that you used several different shades of your papers to had texture and depth. It takes a die cut that often looks "flat" to 3-D. I will definitely need to remember this in the future. Gorgeous card.
