Color Challenge hosted by Mary with DSP as dessert. I have been enjoying using up some gingham paper in these last weeks of summer. I usually use the side with the smaller squares, however today I turned it over and used the larger squares. The Old Olive mat was embossed with a subtle texture and both panels were die-cut with a stitched rectangle. The flowers have some Wink of Stella for a little sparkle.
Free 4 All Challenge hosted by Jeanne to make a thank you card. The stamp set I used for the flowers also had a thank you stamp which fit in nicely. A bow from my stash finished it off.
Thanks to the hostesses for the fun and inspiring challenges. Thank you for looking.

Diane this is simply gorgeous!!! Love the paper you chose, the beautiful stamping, and (my favorite) color combo. Fantastic work. Just pinned this gem.

Love the gingham too and I think using the larger squares was a great choice. The smaller ones would not have been nearly so eye-catching as these. Beautiful floral image and beautifully colored. The single mat is the perfect amount of green on this card. Fabulous card.

Beautiful, Diane! Your larger checks look just as nice as the smaller ones, imo. These colors just seem to sing on your creation. Those purples and olive are so yummy. Sweet card and cute ribbon/bow to polish it off~

So pretty!!!! Beautiful floral image and when paired with the chunkier gingham check it has more visual impact than smaller checks. Really cool card, popping into my Favs for inspiration!
