You ink your background, add glue then ink on top with another color, I added a stamped lighthouse, birds and boat to it. The lighthouse and boat were to bright so after coloring I sponged over them with Old paper distress ink to make it look like it is more sunset time.

What a unique idea! I just went to look at what you did... You ended up with a beautiful scene. Love the water and sun with the birds, excellent.
