The Tea Party this week has us all thinking about and remembering Princess Diana.
My fondest memories of Diana were when she was with her children. The laughter, smiles, love and giggles. She seemed to be so happy and devoted to them both.
I chose to go with Sabrina (Cook22) and the knitted Jenny Kees Jumper.
I stamped the Unity koalas with Brilliance Graphite Black ink and embossed them and fussy cut. Dug into my stash of lovely Australian die cuts from Uniquely Creative and layered them up onto a stitched Paper Rose die cut panel. I added a little heart in the corner as I remember Diana was called the Queen of Hearts as well.
No prizes for guessing who the "problem child" is hanging from the balloon.
Hope you enjoy.

Such a wonderful card Helen and yes I can see the problem child lol. I like how you’ve incorporated an Aussie theme. TFS. Keep safe and well over East. Happy day

So much to love about this slimline card, Helen. The sentiment tag is pretty and, of course, I love the cute koalas but it is all the beautiful Australian dies you have used - the Protea, the gum nuts and the leaves! I’m going to have to check these out! I also love the added heart~

How pretty! I love that you captured all the iconic Australian motifs on this. And I can see how you were inspired by that sweater. You cracked me up with the "problem child" reference. I wonder what she would think about her children if she were alive today.

Those koalas! I don't remember them, they must come from after I unsubbed from Unity - too expensive now we have brokerage and taxes on any non-EU order. They are sweet. There was some stylized wattle on the sweater design, so your die-cuts couldn't be more perfect.
