Made for the Teapot Tuesday challenge MMTPT684. Our inspiration was Princess Diana.
I remember Princess Diana's compassion that she had early, early on in the AIDS pandemic. I remember when people were freaked out when she shook the hand of a man with AIDS. I don't know if she thought it was right or wrong to be gay, but she was very vocally compassionate toward gay men in a world that was more than happy to see them all "punished" for being gay. There are a lot of reasons she is a gay icon and her work with AIDS is one of them.

Diana's compassion was so very evident. Whether with AIDS patients, children or homeless individuals, she was not afraid to touch the "untouchables" and reach out to "the least of these". I'm sure this is why she became the "people's princess". Lovely card. Nice remembrance of Diana.

This is a lovely colourful card representing Princess Diana’s compassion and humanitarian work, she seemed to be able to reach out to anyone with her love and warmth~

Beautiful! I remember when she did that with the AIDS patient...she was a wonderful role model for all of us. I also remember that she brought attention to unexploded land mines. She was truly the people's princess.

Beautifully done, Beth. Always a lovely use of that Work of Art set (sadly underused by me).
Vicki took the same inspiration as you, pretty much. It was her work with the mine-clearing charities that has most stuck in my mind all these years - women and children were disproportionately affected by mines, as they were often the ones out working in the fields.
