For today's Watercolor Wednesday, I went to the fridge and grabbed a handful of bluberries and tossed them on my desk. Then I painted them. It was fun. It's not my best watercolor work, but I think they look like blueberries at least. You know I'm not one for fine details. The more I tried to go in with shadows, the more blobby they seemed to become, so I quit while I was ahead. Then I ate the blueberries.

Love the idea of using the real fruit for your reference. They look great with your different hues. The plaid paper really makes a neat background for them. Always happy to see what you create. Thanks for joining the challenge.
Oh, how fun that you used real blueberries for your reference! I love the yummy color! The background makes me think of a kitchen; just right for blueberries!

wow. I think they look terrific! I have a lot of artists that sell on the street here and this is easily as good. You got great shades going on and that DP is perfect!

I had to pop over to take a look at your pic - you nailed your sketch right down to that lone berry that appears just a bit larger than the others. Way to go my friend!

I had to work from a photo I took as when they were being eaten I didn't have time to paint! Your way of working sounds more fun and your card is lovely
