I was so happy with my painting, till this went totally wrong...
I've die cut my painting, and wanted to make it pop on the blue foil kraft paper, but it stuck too quickly and wanted to take it off, that's why the paper torn, I was so disappointed, but tried to save it, so I've glued it back tied the ribbon and lace around the card, stamped the birthday sentiment and added sequins, I'm not sure this card will survive the bin...
No time anymore to start again, leaving today on vacation

see, I have done such things on purpose but, my save for them as oops tends to go with color dusting some creamy soft brown along the edges. I wonder when you get home if you will like it better as something timeworn/distressed? I love how your berries turned out Anita, have a good trip!

I think this save shows your artistic abilities to make this appear to be an intentional distress technique. Have a great vacation!!

And here I thought you were going for a shabby chic look . . . It works really well with the lace & ribbon embellies. Nicely shaped and colored berries.

Oh! It needs to survive the bin! I love torn edges, I think it adds such a lovely aged element to cards. I would never have thought it wasn't intentional if you hadn't told us! The blue foil is beautiful. Your painting is gorgeous! This is a keeper!

Wonderful painting and love the distressed look- and I would have guessed it was intentional- love the lace and the metallic foil card you added. Have a wonderful vacation, and when you arrive back home, I am hoping you will look at this card with fresh eyes and keep it out of the trash bin : )
