This week's colour choices are so pretty together - Gorgeous Grape, Old Olive & Highland Healther. Dessert is to use dp - I have had this pretty dp for many years! I do not have Highland Heather but have tried to match the colour as closely as I could.
I used marker pens to colour my bird stamp, water sprayed and stamped onto the Strathmore's paper. Once dry, I lightly sponged around the image in the light purple tone. Die cut and raised, using dimensionals, over the dp layer and ribbon. Tied extra ribbon and added the sentiment.
TFL!

A lovely collage style image, Sue! Anything with text really captures my attention, & you've used these colors so well. I like the mostly purple in the bg with the pop of olive for your ribbon.

Sue, this is so lovely! Thank you for sharing your process; it's very inspiring. You achieved just exactly the right amount of water spray on the stamp--the look of watercolor without having the image distorted. Perfect DS paper, too!

The 'watercolor' treatment on that gorgeous collage stamp is exquisite. I agree with Barbara that you got just the right amount of water. Beautiful stamping and matting. Your dp is lovely and I can see why you saved it; but, I'm glad you used it here because it looks fabulous. Lovely design. Gorgeous card.
