This card was an exercise in making adjustments! I stamped the image, then wanted to use a deckle edged die to frame it. I didn't want to lose any of the leaves, so I fussy cut them so they would stick out past the edge. Next challenge came when I stamped the word gnomie at the bottom; I stamped it too far to the right, so stamped it on a heather colored banner to cover. Lastly, I realized that the deckle frames don't match an A2 card base, so cut it narrower.

Been there done that myself- but your card came out so cute- and had you not not mentioned all the issues- I would have thought it came together with ease

Well, first of all, I love this card! (I have that stamp, too; he's adorable!) Second, good for you to keep making the changes you needed to create the perfect card. You know what they say--mistakes are an opportunity for embellishment!

Your "mistakes" look like planned design options and they all look wonderful. I love when an image goes outside the die cut. And the heather banner is a great touch. Of course, that gnome is so adorable -- especially in heather -- it would have looked super without all those lovely elements. But, as it is, it is one fun and delightful card.
