I was in the mood for warm colors and decided to make a canvas, but the technique works for cardmaking too. Coat the canvas with gesso and let dry. Paint with Distress Paint. Stamp the images on tissue paper and apply a layer of gloss medium on the canvas. Carefully place the tissue paper into the medium, adding some creases. Coat with another layer of gloss medium.
When dry, add more paint. Stamp here and there with a script stamp and stamp sentiments on the canvas. Apply glue with a glue stick around the edges, let dry for a short while. The rub gold foil on top to transfer it, adding some lovely shine.
