At first when I saw this, I thought "no way can I do this" and "do I have any yarn?" After hunting high and low, sure enough I found some. This was so fun once I got going and once I felt like they actually resembled trees!! I let the background dry and then added this cute turkey (an old set by Taylored Expressions) and I gave him a funny nose for his face (he comes with multiple faces to choose from). I will send this to my cousin in Chicago. His dad (my uncle) loved funny noses and always was playing jokes on people with a funny nose. I think my cousin will get a kick out of this card. He lost his mother (my aunt) just a few months ago and I wanted to make him smile . I cut a black piece of the die cut turkey so you can see him better against those trees. I think it worked . I plan on making more of these birch trees . Thanks for the fun challenge. This may be my fave one yet!!

Cute card and hope it brings some smiles. I know what you mean about mess but yes far easier to clean up than the brushos I used at the weekend - hands and feet splattered and well stained!
