It's tickle another Teapotter Tuesday, we are sending cards to each other... and Sue/sue28 wanted to honor Princess Di, so we are making cards that commemorate her Royal Highness!
Princess Diana was known for her fashion sense and her ease in connecting with the common folks. This card was based on one of her outfits - she wore pink gingham crop pants with a coordinating pink jumper/sweater while holding a young Prince Harry.
This card's gingham part is fabric stuck with an adhesive label at the back (a tip by Lori/Artzadonistudio). The 'forget-me-nots' were made with a flower punch, lightly sponged with blue at the edges, shaped, then a yellow seed bead was glued for the center.
Thank you for looking and I hope you join us! Thank you Sue for the interesting challenge, and Sabrina for the behind-the-scenes!

I love the red gingham fabric, Gem, and remember the photo you refer to. A beautifully designed card with the pretty flowers, too! Princess Diana was many things - warm, loving, kind to all and really did have a sad ending to her life~

Sweet and pretty - and, LOL, I came across that outfit several times while trying to find a photo to use in the challenge post. A great double tribute with the flowers (the tiny buttons are cute) and the check.
