I sure wish I was more comfortable with shaker cards in general. I know if I did them more, that would help. This is a liquid shaker card, this is the second one I've ever done and it was very challenging. I don't seem to ever have the right size frame for the size baggie I have, which is why I had to hide the edge with a lot more unicorn confetti. The bag was too big for my biggest frame. If anyone has any suggestions how to make this easier, I would welcome them. I used a stash alcohol ink background so didn't color the hand sanitizer, just put in the confetti. I also struggle with regular shakers.

Oh, I've never tried a liquid one - I think I've only ever done one gel card at all, and I was almost afraid to mail it in case it burst in transit. I really like the effect of yours - it looks great with the blue background behind the uncoloured gel.

this is cool, (and I have no clue) that is something I have not done either. I wonder if those tiny zip loc baggies when you order something sometimes online stores put say bottles of rinkers or glitter glues in tiny zip bags. ( they may be something I know I have seen them somewhere ( years ago) they sold them in the craft isle at say Joanns or Wal mart where the beads and jewelry making things hide?

As difficult as it is to make these gel cards, I have made two ever. I think Stacy is right the small bags from sequins, jewelry, etc are the answer. That is what I did mine with. I purchased a package of small bags, probably Hobby Lobby or Wal Mart since that is the only place I have to shop. I love the colors in this. the unicorn confetti may have been for hiding edges but it really attracts some attention, too.

Jean I’m not a shaker card girl. I like to see them but I get frustrated making them. I but did try Lisa’s challenge but I didn’t have hair gel and used enamel accents and did faux shaker in a bag. It didn’t work so well but I tried lol.
Yours came out well. I like all of the sparkle and the silhouette looks good against the blue.
TFS. Happy weekend

Great liquid shaker card !
I made these cards in the past but never sent them !
I was afraid of leakage
What I found was that you have to seal the zipper bags with extra tape,
On another card the gel came through the plastic, so it is important to use good quality bags.
I used to make a tray for making gel cards using a sheet of acetate taped with foam tape and then a 2nd sheet of acetate.

BRAVO!! I'm not sure I'd even attempt this! I don't like making shaker cards period, I have so much trouble with them. This looks amazing and I love the die cut image. Fabulous take on your inspiration, you nailed it.
