Color challenges have not been my easiest, so I am challenging myself to participant more often in this specific challenge. One of my obstacles is color selection. Since I don't have SU supplies, I am always second-guessing my color choices. The hostesses, however, have always been kind, encouraging and supportive and have told me the colors only need to be similar. I think these Catherine Pooler inks are similar although the green is probably a bit too blue.
For the bg, I embossed white card stock. Smooshed the green-blue CP ink on my glass mat; brayered the ink on the mat (I like how it spreads the ink and thins it a bit) and dragged the embossed panel through it. I am really happy with this look. Stamped and die cut the flowers and leaves; added Stickles to the flower center; assembled. Easy Peasy I did get a bit impatient and assembled too soon though so there is some stray pollen (stickles) on the flowers. LOL.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope whatever challenges you are facing turn out to be as easy peasy as this card. Hugs.

You've made such a beautiful, dreamy card with these colors, Debbie! You've substituted so well - just make sure you don't sweat it. Your little pop of glitter in the flower centers is the perfect accent.

Your background is fabulous, Debbie! Glad you joined the club of slightly off colors. I never get mine quite right, but I always have fun trying. Your background is gorgeous and there's nothing wrong with a bit of stray stickles. Congrats on being chosen as the fave for the week!
