When we visited USA west coast in 2003 we named our photo album "The Fog March". As we were about to visit North Head lighthouse Washington before going to our stop for the evening the fog rolled in and we dashed back to the car. The fog stayed round and about all the way to San Diego. This is my take on that lighthouse

Lovely memory piece by you, Janine. Your sky is magnificent! I like that you showed the lighthouse on a bright sunny days with all the clear colors that you used.

Lovely peaceful scene. (My husband likes to say he's been across the Golden Gate Bridge several times but has never seen it because the fog was so bad each time.)

How wonderful that your card has a lighthouse that you visited. Too bad it was foggy, but isn't that what lighthouses are for? Love that texture in the grass!

Amazing replica of the North Head lighthouse. Your sketching is wonderful, along with the painting. You captured the realism of the scene so well. Great texture on your grass. Fav'd

I love the totally cool shape of that lighthouse and the keeper's cottage as well. It has almost a chapel like feel with those cruciform ends. I'm glad you brought this out of the fog and into the light of day.
