This week at Teapotters, Jen/Jennifrann challenged us to put a house or car in our cards for an ex-coworker who needs some paper hugs! I included both in my card - well, I splurged and got Tom a shiny new car (button, that is, LOL)! The house is fussy cut from a designer paper - pretty straightforward card to make. I hope you join us in cheering up Tom...Thanks for the challenge, Jen, this was fun!

The button is so cute! I have a collection of buttons that I have bought over the years simply because I couldn't resist them, but unfortunately they're not really international-mail friendly . The scene with the little house cut from DP is so sweet.

Wonderful card and I'm loving that shiny new car too -- I am sure Tom will as well. Love your layout and the great DPs you used (or created). That sweet home looks so very inviting. The verse is the perfect finishing touch and is so appropriate with the car theme. Beautiful job. Great card.

Love your delicate flowers and leaves which compliment the colors in your house so nicely! Your scripture is very encouraging! Really like your striped paper as a backdrop for your other elements. Tom will be so surprised that you're sending him a shiny new car! lol
