Chris is our hostess for the Color Challenge and Jen is our hostess for the Teapot Challenge. This week we are sending encouraging cards to Tom. I found some vintage car images in similar colors to the color challenge. I also computer generated the sentiment. I used the letter dies to form Tom's name - I also die cut 4 of each letter from black cardstock so that I could stack them for dimension. This main panel was matted with green cardstock and I used the plaid builder dies to create the black and yellow layer.
Thank you, Chris and Jen, for these fun challenges!

What a beautiful way to approach both of these challenges. I love the subtle way you included his name. And...You've done a great job with Best Plaid. I always struggled getting that to highlight a greeting without overwhelming the rest of the card. This shows just the right amount and certainly goes with your theme.

Loving those cars too -- what a brilliant find -- and the eclipse lettering is a wonderful personal touch. I haven't seen the plaid builder dies before, but I love the layering frame you created with them. Fabulous card.
