My background is a little dark - that is because underneath all this watercolor work is a failed Shaving Cream BG from a long time ago. I had pulled out some failed BGs the other day and since the colors of this one were similar to my sprays, it was time to cover it up. So I ink smooshed first, then water stamped some script, then spritzed some more water droplets, then sprayed just a fine mist of the spray inks, then spattered water again, then stamped the script in white craft ink and embossed with clear sparkle EP. Finally I stamped the Agapanthus cluster in black ink (twice). Part of then are just outline flowers so I painted those in white Higgins ink (twice). Spattered white ink one more time and stamped and cut my sentiment. I am quite happy with this even though it is fairly dark.

I think this is a beauty Pat. Love the dark bold colours and that you used previous art to make new art. I have been known to wash my watercolour to get rid of mistakes - hahaha! But that is when the colour is only a few hours old, don't know how it would work on an older piece.
