This week's Featured Stamper, Linda (aka Glittergal), has a beautiful Gallery chocked full of glittery delights. I bookmarked several cards to go back and review and possibly CASE; but, sadly, today I needed a sympathy card. I was inspired by several of Glittergal's card, but my primary inspiration was this card because of the copper and blue colors and the trees: An "Oops" I like!! by Glittergal at Splitcoaststampers
I embossed my tree with an ep called Sparkly Copper. It looks very sparkly in person but not quite as coppery as I would have liked. I have had this copper cs for ages so was happy to be able to use it here.
Congratulations Linda on being this week's FS. I so enjoyed perusing your Gallery. I saw many old friends (stamps) among your cards and I plan to revisit them soon.
My biological cousin, Eric, passed this week from cancer and this card is for his twin brother Errol. It's difficult to lose a family member, but I imagine it's even harder to lose your other half -- your twin. I hope he is able to find some peace and in that space connect once again to his twin. I hope you are finding some peace in your day as well. TFL.

So sorry Debbie to hear about your cousin. This is so beautiful with a comforting sentiment. That is such a pretty embossed tree and I am spying a wonderful ef. in the background. Sympathy cards are hard to make and you did wonderfully.

Wonderful case. Fabulous masculine sympathy card for your cousin. The sentiment is comforting and seems so fitting for someone who lost their twin. Well done. Hugs!

So sorry for your family’s loss. This was a lovely card to case and I like your version of it. I like using copper cardstock to layer with and also for embossing powder…your result is a very elegant card and perfect for the other half of Eric.

A beautiful sympathy card. The copper embossing powder is so pretty. I know the pain of losing a brother. The lose of a twin has to be very painful. I hope Errol finds peace in the memories of wonderful times spent with Eric and the closeness they shared.

I pray that he finds peace in the Lord for the loss of his twin. That must be really rough. Your lovely card will help, I'm sure. You did a beautiful job!!
