This is my card for CC856. Karen is our hostess and she chose granny apple green, flirty flamingo and mango melody for her color trio. Dessert option this week is anything goes. I chose enamel dots.
For my card I am using an old Verve set "be blessed" for my flowers & sentiment. I stamped the flowers then colored with mango melody blends from Stampin'-Up. This set also has a coordinating die to cut the flower images.
The leaves are a die from CottageCutz. I used granny apple green cardstock and then sponged with the same ink for a deeper shade.
My black background is embossed with the greenery embossing folder. My camera wasn't cooperating and the embossing doesn't show on the black cardstock for some reason.
To get the flirty flamingo color in I used enamel dots and added a butterfly cut in the color. I cut a flag and then stamped the sentiment that is part of this stamp set.
I hope you can play along with us this week. Maybe use these colors for a card for the DTGD challenges going on right now.

Wow - the black background is really making your blooms pop, Mary! The flowers are so crisp and fresh looking and the polka dot butterfly finishes this striking card perfectly.

I love this beauty, Mary! The combination of stamped flowers and die-cut leaves adds such interest. I also like the white strip down the left side and the slightly smaller focal panel. You've tied them together with the placement of you enamel dots. Lovely!

These blooms are so sweet, Mary, and the leaves are so pretty with their veins and your sponging! I Love your design and the way the black brings out these colors so beautifully! The dotted butterfly is a nice touch~
