F4A598 = Outside - whatever outside says to you. I've spent a lot of time in my backyard this summer as we've had perfect weather. I feed the birds and I'm a keen gardener. So outside says birds and plants to me.
MIX445 = Just Wing It - birds have wings and my mixed media are ink and Magicals powders.
I started out by creating my background - green and blue Magicals sprinkled on mixed media cs and spritzed with water. I stamped a foliage stamp on it with black ink.
I stamped and heat embossed the bird, then die cut it.
On a white panel, I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment, trimmed it with a stitched rectangle die, and die cut a circle out of the upper centre.
I layered the panel over the background using foam tape for dimension, added it to the card base, and added the die cut bird to the top, popping up its head on foam tape where it goes over the background.

This is magical! Love the green background you created and especially like how you used a circle aperture to give the effect of the bird looking into this magical world.
Nicely done! A good use of a rainy day….could you send some our way please? We’re in desperate need of moisture!

Susan, an exquisite card! Love how the bird is positioned to be looking upward toward your beautifully done circle. Your sense of CAS design is spot on.
This is beautiful! My daughter has teased me that now that my kids are grown I have transferred my attention to the birds! I love watching them and I talk to them on the inside of the house while looking out our bay window at them, even though that is silly! I love your beautiful bird and the circle window!
