I have written several times about our little unicorn, my youngest granddaughter and Michele's 20-month old daughter, so dubbed during her stay in the NICU after her birth. Because her veins were so small, her care team inserted her intravenous application into a vein in her head, which stuck up almost straight up, giving her the look of a unicorn with its cute little horn. My inspiration for Michele's card came from this scenario. I have acquired a multitude of stamps and dies with a unicorn theme because of Evie's story that became part of our lives, and I thought it time the mother of our little unicorn received her very own unicorn card!
In researching my plan for Michele's card, which includes searching out SCS challenges that might fit, I came up with 13 challenges, listed below:
.1) AOCC21 - All Occasions Card Challenge/ July 2021. A much needed birthday card for my oldest daughter.
.2) USEIT2021 - Use It Challenge/ July 2021. I'm breaking out two NEW/OLD stamp set purchased in 2019...Leave a Little Sparkle and New Wonder, plus some ancient Recollections dsp.

Carleen, that is such a lovely stamp and I love what you did with it. The background paper is reminiscent of sparkles and stars and the design on the vellum panel is perfectly magical. Just beautiful.

What a beautiful card, Carlene. I love the colors you used and how appropriate for your daughter to receive a unicorn card. So thankful what the medical teams can do now, your sweet little unicorn.
