So, I knew that DTGD was coming (tomorrow) and technically this sample for the IC is coming (tomorrow) early tonight and I out smarted my self and combined the two... so, Yes this is a sneak peek at one of the challenges that will load in the morning. but, it was jump started by this cool scene here inside the home and design magazine site. I will link it up in the DTGD dirty gallery tomorrow am. The duck was stamped 3 times with the yellow ink on this watercolor paper that I found hiding in the closet, I think I bought this years ago for the lined texture not the fact that it was WC paper so, I have been messing around with it a little off and on the last week ( its thin) the ducks bill & wing are up on pop dots over the body and the frame was cut into the top layer of grey cs so, it could be mounted from behind like a pool deck but, I did end up grabbing a paler shade of grey for the base. I did tape this stencil to the WC paper and "Paint" it, so it did have some traveling under in the center and when that was dry I did trace around on some of those highlights with a white Gouache paint. ( that made it more faded blue than bright white) but, I think this is still pretty interesting looking. I am trying to make my self use the stencils I have been collecting. Thanks for this challenge Julie and this one too Lori. & tfl.
