For the Teapot Tuesday Tickle, we're creating cards illustrating a trip we'd like to take, if money and travel restrictions weren't an issue. I would love to go to Europe and visit some quaint old villages along with the usual touristy stuff. This scene is supposed to be a quaint area somewhere in Europe where we stop for a glass of wine. I used bits and pieces of several different stamps, starting with the storefront. It's actually supposed to be a flower shop, but I changed the sign to make it a cafe. The table and chairs are a small part of a large I-O stamp (they are under a huge tree in the stamp), so I just inked up the part I wanted. The greenery is a couple of SU stamps, and I sketched in the pot beside the chair as well as the sidewalk. I had intended to create some ephemera from the trip but since I was traveling for real last week, it's time to get this in the mail.

I LOVE this. I always love to hear people have combined multiple sets to get the image they want instead of designing around the given stamp!!
This is so sweet. Your sketching fits right in with the stamp style. Kudos!

I like the sentiment. And I think your little cafe is sweet, I bought a couple of jigsaws last year in that sort of style. Pocket Silhouettes look great with it. And I see we can enjoy sitting safely outdoors, too, if we prefer ;-).
