I think I went a little rogue with today's WCW. I had a hard time really seeing the video well. I guess I should have watched it on something bigger than my phone. And I felt like stamping a flower today. So I kind of tried to follow along and made this background. Then I stamped my favorite STAMPlorations flowers and watercolored them with my Spectrum Aqua markers. This background was my second try. My first try involved the purple watercolor you see on the side panel. I used that paper to soak up the extra. Then I also soaked up the Teal from this background. I stamped some light script and I thought it made a nice side panel for today's nice and simple sketch. Finished with Stickles as usual.

Well Neighbor, I was within a hair's breath of using a stamp today, too, when my first 2 attempts turned into unrecognizable blobs. Luckily #3 worked for me . . . . I love that your yellow, especially, is sheer enough to let some of the bg colors work as shadows and highlights in your flowers.

Gorgeous as well as encouraging, Jen! Your flowers are so beautiful, but I also really love that side panel with the script! All in all...a phenomenal combination of the two challenges!
This turned out beautifully! I was just thinking that I enjoyed making the background so much it would be fun to create a bunch with something maybe not as expensive as my Daniel Smith watercolors and do it on cardstock. So I am in the thinking process there! I really love how she built the background. I like where the inspiration took you! I love how well the purple border works with your design.

I agree, your side panel really pulls this design together! It's so much fun to use our scrap or left-over panels on our cards. I really like your water-colored background and blossoms!!
