 | | My friend Kelly invited another friend and me to join her in a year-long series two years ago and we've had so much fun with it that we've been doing it ever since. The 12 + 1 series is a simple concept - choose one stamp (not a whole set, just one stamp) and use it on a card each month of the year. Additional sentiments are allowed but optional.
We've each chosen a different stamp each year. This year I chose the maple leaf from the Stampin' UP! Gather Together stamp set.
For this "August" card, I stamped the leaf repeatedly (and randomly) on a piece of white cardstock to create the background and added another leaf stamped on designer paper for the focal point of the card.
