LeAnn is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us a palette perfect for flowers, which is the direction I took: Calypso Coral, Pale Papaya and Pear Pizzazz. The dessert option this week is die cuts.
No stamps on this card! I used the five-part layering stencils to create the flowers, with Distress Oxide ink pads in colors close to this week's colors, adding a couple of neutrals to the mix, using blending brushes on Bristol cardstock. Then I die cut them out. Cut the top layer with the mini-slimline dies, mounted it on the base card with foam tape, and arranged the flowers. I added the greeting using a sticker from a Tim Holtz Small Talk booklet.
This card is going to my niece and her husband. I thought the greeting was perfect for an anniversary card. Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!
Accessories: Be Strong stencils (Pinkfresh Studio), Be Strong dies (Pinkfresh Studio), mini slimline dies (Pinkfresh Studio), blending brushes (TE), Small Talk stickers (TH), foam tape, sequins

This is beautiful Barbara. Your stenciled flowers are amazing and I love the slimline layout. You finished this beauty with a perfect sentiment for an anniversary card.

Very nice Barbara. I love the cut out die design which works perfect for the pretty flowers that you placed inside of it. You chose the perfect sentiment for the card also. Thanks for sharing, and thanks for leaving that nice comment on my CC card. I really appreciate that you took the time to do that.
