This card is to honour a friend on this site who is this week's Featured Stamper. Jan has a lovely varied gallery. I chose this card to case: Bokeh in Lilac by jan31 at Splitcoaststampers
I did the bokeh BG using paints....usually I use inks but thought I would try paints and see how it came out. I also used some distress inks. I do have a similar die to the one Jan used on her card but decided to emboss my sentiment on vellum so that the BG could still be seen. Added flowers, stickles and bling (thanks Shelly for the bling). I popped my distressed panel on yellow as I wanted a happy complimentary colour. It's very sparkly IRL.
Congrats Jan and I hope that you enjoy your week.
TFL. Happy day

Totally fun case of Jan's beautiful card, Jayney. Love how you think outside the box using the acrylic paints to do your bokeh. Mounting this on yellow gives it a beautiful brightness.

Gorgeous! Love your take on Jan's card and the changes you made are stunning. Especially love the painted bokeh on that gorgeous bg. Using the velum was genius -- it's looks great and I love seeing your bg behind it. Beautiful layout and design. Fav'd.
