This card goes out to Verna who loves bright, happy colors. I die cut the pansy blooms, stems and leaves out of white cardstock, then colored them using my blending brushes. After finishing with my brushes I really liked the inky design on the scrap paper I had been using to dab my ink-filled brushes on, so I die cut the scalloped panel out of that scrap paper. I die cut the pansy centers, little flowers and the sprigs from the gold foil cardstock. I assembled and glued the pansy blooms. Using Press and Seal, I arranged the various pieces then adhered to the scalloped panel. The sentiment was gold embossed on the oval die cut. Thank you, Kelly, for this fun challenge!

This is really beautiful. Your sponging is soft and summery and the gold elements are wonderful. How cool to use your sponge scratch paper as the actual BG for your card.
