For the CAS white emboss challenge. I tried with all sorts of papers but finally the bristol worked the best to color my image. (On mixed media c.s. the coloring bled outside the lines but could have been that the ink was not entirely dry before I set out to color it in.) Did not have a problem with the bristol though and I set out coloring it pretty fast so not really sure what was going on. I colored with distress inks swiped on a clear block and picking up the color with a water brush. irl the rose panel looks whitish enough but the camera picked up the cream in it. So it looks quite like a contrast here. Attached the ribbon with a glue dot. Everything glued down with Tombow multi glue.

Elegant! Great coloring of your rose bud, super sweet sentiment and lovely embossed layer! Really like your pretty ribbon and twine embellishment, Shirl!

What a lovely card! The background embossing looks fabulous - your photography really picked up well. That single bloom tied with a ribbon looks so elegant. Isn't it aggrevating when 'whites' come in different colours, ha, ha!

Very pretty, Shirl! Love all the layers behind the image, especially the skinny edge of black panel that shows. It makes it pop off the colored card base and grounds the panels on top. Neat design idea I must remember!
