This actually turned out to be easier than I anticipated. The scariest part for me was when I thought my picture was complete - then I realized a boat on the water without someone to man the sails was - well - weird!
So repeating my mantra "Don't muck this up, don't muck this up. . ." I carefully added a shadowed figure adjusting the sails. The second scariest thing was hand lettering a sentiment since none of my stamped sentiments seemed appropriate. Over all I'm very happy with how this turned out. Thank you, Brenda, for a great challenge today.

Yes, this was easier than it looked when you see the video. I love that you put a human in your boat. I am counting those things in the back as my humans. O.K., I know. Ha I know what you mean about ruining a completed piece when you realize you need to add something. Great work on this outstanding card.

Another challenge and another terrific painting. Love how you created the billowing sails. Learned a lot from your entry. Oh yes you and Anita were the only ones who had someone controlling the sails. The rest of our boats are just floating aimlessly. Your reflection looks great too. Your sailboat is one of my favorites in the gallery. TFS
