This is my card for Teapot Tuesday and it is a tickler. A friend recently gave me the intricate die cut which reminded me of Moroccan tile. Our challenge this week is to take a fellow teapotter on a dream vacation. So my teapotter friend and I are going to Morocco. This card shows the view through the window of our riad. We will visit Casablanca and see the Hassan II mosque, a spectacular work of art and one of the largest in Africa. Our trip will include time at Chefchaouen, the blue city of Morocco. And we will explore the souqs of Marrakech, bartering for the best prices for leather goods, textiles and jewelry. We will enjoy a hammam spa, followed by mint tea. Come join me in experiencing the exotic sights, smells and tastes of Morocco.

Vicky, This sounds quite exotic and I'd love to experience this trip with you. Not only does the die cut have that Moroccan feel but so does the DSP behind it which has rather a mosaic tile look.

Love the die-cut paired with the BG paper, perfect. Funny, I just got DH Casablanca for his birthday, we must watch it. The spa sounds very enticing indeed, I'm up for that.

This really does look like a Moroccan tile OR window - you chose the absolutely perfect dsp to put behind that very cool die cut! Love the desert scene, so beautifully colored and framed, and the beaded metal plate with sentiment blends perfectly with the Moroccan design. Now I can’t wait to visit Casablanca!!

You have created a lovely tiled background for this Arabian themed card. Love your detailed description of the “tour” as well. Doesn’t that just make you want to get up and travel again.

Visiting Israel was one of the places I was considering, when making my card. I would love to see where Jesus was born, walked and lived. I love your Bethlehem card, it is beautiful!!
