I have been dreaming of this fantasy vacation for many years and it will be SO FUN to take a Teapotter along with me. Hope you enjoy a tipple or two or more and be prepared to be on the road for at least 2 or 3 months as we are going on a World Wine Tasting Tour!!!
We will meet up in the Napa valley wine country in California sipping our way through a multitude of varietals and from there fly cross country to the Hudson Valley wineries in New York State. Once we've tasted our way through this wine region, we will set course for South Africa where you can try my favorite muscat "Smirk" and quite a few others.
Now it's on to Australia - I've had Yellow Tail Shiraz but don't know what else they produce - Perhaps a local teapotter can join us when we're in your area and make suggestions. (This goes for any place along the Tour! If we're near you - come join us)
Now it's a long plane ride to Europe - We will be spending time in Italy, France, Germany and more. Eventually we have to move on and will end our tour in my home state of Texas (the 5th largest wine producer in the USA)

Linda I’m on this tour lol. If you like Yellow Tail let me tell you that you will be blown away by other Aussie wines. I used to drink Yellow Tail but not any more lol. Houghtons is a great and what we call quaffing drop and many many others with a higher price tag. I sound as though I drink a lot lol…not any more but I do like the odd cheeky drop.
This is such a fun travel journal/folio. TFS. Happy day

What a delightful trip. If you are in California and enjoying Napa, you have to swing by Lodi, too. Old vine zin is their specialty and new merlots. I love the idea of several weeks to enjoy the whole world of wine. You nailed this challenge. Thanks for playing along with your fun Z-fold patio for the traveling ladies. Love every detailed bit of it.

I always love what you do with that background stamp. What a fascinating tour. I would never have known that Texas was a big wine producer. We've had somr fine Greek and Swiss wines, so allow time for those on the European leg.

Oh, take me, take me! What a lovely card and itinerary you have put together. I've had that wine label stamp on my wish list for a long time. Now may be the time to get it! I love your girlfriends having such a great time together. Marvellous card!
