This is for today's MIX-shaker card; Tuesday's color combo-evening evergreen, mint macaron, rococo rose; and the ABC15L challenge-layers.
Shaker cards and I have never been friends. I have attempted, usually pretty disastrous from a construction standpoint. But I was bound and determined today so looked on YT for an 'easy shaker card' tutorial and found one by Kristina Werner that fit the bill and made me feel accomplished. It's an edge to edge shaker, using a background, the packaging from a stencil, double sided tape and sequins. She posted the video this past May.
I have fallen in love with my brayer again, used the rose to brayer some vanilla cs, stamped with the evening evergreen. Big circle is covered with the unicorn paste (I think it's Finnebair, two coats) and some chunky glitter. Small circle is edged with the rainbow ep. I added a few mint sequins to the big circle, along with some rose gold LP.
Most of my Christmas stuff is packed away but this Club Scrap stamp set is new (to me) and was perfect. If I'm going to make a religious Christmas card, it has to focus on Christmas carols. I'm very pleased with how this turned out. Thanks for the beautiful colors and great MIX...kicked me in the rear.

I should have known this was yours on originality! Love all the elements and totally agree about shaker cards. In the last 10 years I did two using some bad words as I did them. Yours worked out beautifully, the kind of card people want to touch.

Oh, you should be pleased with how this turned out. Shaker cards, I love, but they feel like too much work I guess, to me, most of the time, lol. Yes, I am lazy!
Loving that background stamping and chunky glitter and wonderful joyous sentiment!

Jean this is so creative. Love the layers and all the extra touches. The circle on the front is my favourite. It just makes your card so unique. Gorgeous. TFS. Happy day
