I had made some hot air balloons last Saturday, and thought would be fun to use the die cuts to make a one layer card (on the right) I've die cut the balloon, laid the negative on the base and sponged with worn lipstick and fired brick, then added the die cut balloon in the mask's aperture and sponged over with the other colors, splattered a bit of water and dried with a tissue, lifted the masks and sponged a blue sky around the balloon and stamped a birthday sentiment, the card on the left is made with the masks glued on a foiled kraft paper.

Both card are beautiful, Anita! The sponged colors on the right are so pretty but so is the rich foiled blue against the sponged mask on the left! What a fabulous way to end up with two wonderful cards!

Foiling, I wondered what the seeming glow on the one on the left was. I bet it looks fab, but I like the softness and water distressing on your one-layer card which manages to look very dimensional.
